Réalisatrice du documentaire "Une Idée Folle"
BACKGROUND / Professional and educational background:
After five years working for a large company’s marketing department as a photography director for EGOÏSTE magazine, Judith Grumbach directed Une Idée Folle, her first documentary in 2016.
Shot in nine different schools, public and private, from kindergarten to junior high all across France, Une Idée Folle raises the question of school in the 21st century. Which challenges will tomorrow’s citizens have to face, and how can we prepare them? It is by cultivating empathy, creativity, cooperation and initiative or even self-confidence and critical thinking, all the while teaching fundamentals, that teachers dream of training a future generation of thriving and responsible citizens who will want to positively change the society they live in?
