Valentine Agid-Durudaud

Director of sustainable urban development, GDF Suez

BACKGROUND / Academic and professional background

Valentine Agid-Durudaud began her career in the Hervet Bank as financial analyst.
In 1997, she joined that will be the GDF SUEZ Group where she occupied several functions in different structures. First Elyo (Energy services) as financial controller and then project manager with the president. Cofely Ineo (electric and communication systems) since 2004, where she created and developed the marketing branch.

In 2010, she joined the GDF SUEZ headquarters to lead the group commercial coordination before taking the responsibility of the City Territory and Mobility program inside the Commercial, Innovation and new functions direction in 2014.
She has also participated in the drafting of the report “Public and private partnerships and public investments performance” – Pangloss 2010.
She is graduated from ESCP.

ACHIEVEMENT/ What is your project, initiative, start-up, company all about?

GDF SUEZ is an actor of energy, expert in 3 functions: electricity, natural gas and energy services. The group places responsible growth at the core of its functions to face the major energetics and environmental challenges: meet energy needs, fight climate change, optimise resources uses.

GDF SUEZ is active in more than 70 countries in 5 continents.

GDF Suez is committed to face energy transition by producing energy without CO2 and by decreasing consumption with sustainable and measurable results (20 000 tonnes of CO2 avoided in Saragosse, 15% cut on the energy bill of a tower in Montreal…) Local actor rooted in territories, the group is committed to make energy accessible to all.
